When the load outgrows a van — pallet counts climb, routes stretch between emirates, volumes turn wholesale — a refrigerated truck is the vehicle that keeps the whole shipment in range. From 3 tonnes for city bulk to 10 tonnes for heavy intercity distribution, it holds the full band from +25°C down to −25°C.

We rent refrigerated trucks across Dubai and the UAE in single and dual-zone configurations, HACCP-certified, temperature logged, and available with or without a driver on daily, weekly, monthly or long-term terms. Below are the specifications, how to size the truck, pricing, and the corridors it is built to run.

A big refrigerated truck loses its cold at the loading bay, not on the road.

People assume the danger to a long-haul reefer is the journey — the hours, the heat, the distance. In practice a large refrigerated truck is at its most stable while it is moving. All that volume gives it thermal mass: a big, deeply cold body of air that resists change and holds its number through a two-hour intercity run with ease.

The load actually warms at the dock. Every time the doors stand open at a loading bay — and a full pallet load takes real minutes to load or unload — hot Dubai air pours in, and the bigger the box, the more cold air there is to spill and re-cool afterwards. That is why dock discipline beats road worry every time: we pre-cool before the doors open, stage pallets to load fast, and keep the reefer working to pull the box back down the moment they shut. Manage the bay, and the drive looks after itself.

What every truck includes

Do you need a truck, or will a van do?

Bigger is not automatically better. Match the vehicle to the pallet count and the route, and you pay for the capacity you actually use.

Smaller, more frequent drops? Compare the refrigerated van or the compact chiller van. For deep-frozen bulk, see the freezer truck; for chilled truck work, the 3-ton chiller truck.

Frequently asked questions

What is a refrigerated truck?

A refrigerated truck is a larger insulated vehicle, typically 3 to 10 tonnes, fitted with a reefer unit that holds a set temperature anywhere from +25°C down to −25°C. It is built for volume: pallet loads, bulk distribution and intercity cold freight that would need several van trips to move otherwise.

It depends on pallets and route, not just weight. A 3-tonne truck suits city bulk and mid-size retail runs; 5 to 7 tonnes handles supermarket distribution and regional corridors; 10 tonnes covers heavy wholesale and long intercity hauls. Tell us your pallet count, drop pattern and the temperature band, and we size it precisely.

Yes, with a dual-zone body. A movable bulkhead splits the load space so one compartment holds chilled goods at +2°C to +5°C while the other runs frozen below −18°C, on a single trip. It is the efficient choice when a route mixes fresh and frozen for the same customers.

Yes. Rent with one of our cold-chain drivers, who know inter-emirate corridors, checkpoints, loading-bay procedure and temperature-controlled handling, or self-drive with your own licensed team. Larger trucks are more often hired with a driver, though the choice is yours.

Yes. Every truck is HACCP-certified and logs cargo temperature end to end, producing records suitable for Dubai Municipality, ADAFSA and pharmaceutical cold-chain audits. Logs are available on request for any rental term.

Yes. We cover Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Al Ain, and run regular Dubai–Abu Dhabi and Dubai–Sharjah corridors. A single provider and one set of standards cover your whole cross-emirate route.
